Topics

The meeting will cover a range of topics in the area of Vector Bundles on Algebraic Curves with special emphasis on moduli spaces and topology.

The workshop is intended expecially for young researchers, both as participants and speakers. We aim to have an informal and cooperative atmosphere and allow plenty of time for discussion.

Funding

Funding will be available for accomodation, registration fee and possibly travel expenses for young researchers (aged up to 35) from the EU and associated states (*), with priority given to those from less favoured regions and to women researchers. Limited support may be available for young researchers from other countries.

Costs

There will be a registration fee of 70 euros, to be paid in cash on arrival (unless your fee is being covered by the organizers). The cost of board and accommodation is approximately 67 euros per day (single room) or 48.50 euros per day (shared double room).

Deadlines

If you wish to give a talk and/or apply for financial support, please register before March 1, 2003 . Otherwise, please register before April 15, 2003 (after this date we may not be able to guarantee availability of accommodation).

Accommodation

The participants will be accommodated at the Hotel Tuela, which is located a few minutes' walk from the Department. The talks will start on Tuesday, July 1 and finish on Saturday, July 5; the standard arrival date is Monday, June 30 and the standard departure date is Sunday, July 6.
