The conference venue, Instituto Superior Tecnico, is midway between Areeiro and Avenidas Novas, and the hotel is a little way south of the university.

Here is a map of the university and surrounding area. The university is marked with a red U.
The nearest metro station (to the right of the university with three entrances) is called Alameda. The metro station near Pr. do Chile is called Arroios. The metro station to the left of the university (with three entrances) is called Saldanha. You can easily see how to walk from the hotel to the university by noticing that R. Pascoal de Melo appears on this map and on the first map of the hotel and surroundings. You can also take the metro from Anjos to Alameda (two stops).

go along Av. Rovisco Pais - approx. 60m - turn left into the University campus.
