The conference will start on Monday, September 2, in the morning, and finish on Saturday, September 7, in the evening. It will consist of twenty four 1-hour invited lectures by the speakers listed on the main page (see the schedule of talks). All talks will take place at the Conference Center of IST (see the Campus Map). There will be no parallel sessions so the participants will be able to attend all scheduled talks.

Two half-days are scheduled for sightseeing:

• For Wednesday, September 4, in the afternoon, we are organizing a trip to Sintra , an old and picturesque town on the outskirts of Lisbon. The trip to Sintra will also include a dinner.
• On Saturday, September 7, in the afternoon, there will be no talks. We may organize some informal tours of Lisbon.

The conference dinner will take place in the evening of Saturday, September 7, in Castelo de S. Jorge, the castle overlooking the old city.

A football (soccer) game among participants is planned for Thursday 5, at 6 pm. Those wishing to participate should get in touch with Miguel Abreu.
