I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry, and Dynamical Systems at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal. I completed my Ph.D. in June 2004 at Dartmouth College, where Carolyn Gordon was my advisor. My research area is geometry. I am currently working on problems of spectral geometry, including the spectra of singular spaces such as orbifolds. The connections between number theory and hyperbolic geometry also interest me.
